Get Your Post Noticed: Instagram Hashtags for Bloggers
Saturday, October 17, 2015![]() |
If your Instagram's been on a slump and you're in the look out of something that can help you boost your posts, guess what! You are definitely on the right page!
Basically, this post is a testimony of how the use of Instagram Hashtags can be a nice approach to get your posts noticed and as a bonus, increase likes and/or comments on your Instagram posts. Sounds fascinating, isn't it? I'm telling you, it really is!
I've been using these hashtags on my posts after I read the list of Instagram Hashtags for Bloggers that Will Triple Likes from Sarah's blog and I won't go another post without sharing them to you. And believe me, they really work because I usually get a maximum of 50-60 likes on my post before. And by using these hashtags, I'm now getting more than that! Different accounts (mostly bloggers) have been liking and some are leaving (positive) comments on my photos. Some ended up following me. And because these hashtags are mostly used by bloggers, there would be a chance that they'll click over your blog, too.
In the first photo where I tried to use some hashtags from the list, I picked the hashtags that would best suit and are related to my photo. The following are the hashtags I used on my first photo that you may copy + paste for you to use on your next post:
#vsco #vscocam #vscoph #vscophile #vscogood #cupcakes #foodporn #LiveColorfully #Livethelittlethings #nothingisordinary #prettylittlething #prettylittlethings #howyouglow #colorventures #ThatColorProject #thatsdarling #darlingmovement #thehappynow #Flashesofdelight #petitejoys #pursuepretty #makeyousmilestyle #Wandeleurspark #ABMlifeissweet #ABMlifeiscolorful #ABMHappyLife #ABMHappyHour #DScolor #DSrainbow #DStexture
Note:
- The first seven hashtags (#vsco #vscocam #vscoph #vscophile #vscogood #cupcakes #foodporn) aren't on the list but I included them because these are also widely used on IG and they somehow add likes on my posts plus they are closely relevant to my post.
- The rest are picked from the list of hashtags which are best used if your photo fall under some of these categories: Styledshots, Travel, Lifestyle, Flowers, Cooking, Cocktails, Home, Pretty, Colorful, Pets, Friends, Beaches, Soft, Feminine, Beautiful or anything that makes you smile. Some are self-explanatory.
Below is the photo where I first tried using these hashtags. Lo and behold!
Now you are eyeing that 3-digit number next to a heart that reads 280. I posted it the other day considering that I only have 200+ followers that time and not even the half of the likes are from my followers! (I mean this positively) See? Just by using hashtags, you can boost your Instagram posts even if you only have few followers.

I know, I know. Now you go try it and see for yourself that it actually works! And because I give all the credits to Sarah, whom I now refer as "Bill Nye", for her amazing effort in creating these awesome list, you can find the full Instagram Hashtag sets here.
Don't forget to follow me on Instagram, I'd love it! ;)
And also follow Sarah's blog design site on Instagram where she first posted her photo using 30 hashtags from the sets.
Happy gramming!
